Welcome to the auction for my 335D Reason for selling this just as I have done all the maintenance is I need to replace my other vehicle (BMW X5) and need to free up some funds. Car spec : Bmw 335D x-Drive Msport 118,000 miles 9 Month MOT Adaptive Xenon Pro Nav & HK Heated black interior M performance pack (bigger brakes / previous owner painted them green) The car is mechanically perfect , no lights no noises etc etc I bought it in need of some love , was a bit tatty with interior trim stained and just general neglect. I have replaced interior parts with oem standard appearance to match the spec. It had every oil leak under the sun and some other bits that needed doing , list below. Chain had been replaced but sprockets weren’t so I bought absolutely everything from BMW and had it all done again. Pictures and receipts to prove. This was done at around 111,000 (will double check) I noticed the chain whilst doing valve cover gaskets as well as injector seals and inlet manifold. Whilst all that was off I also done oil filter housing full gasket set as they’re prone to leak. On purchasing this the tracking was out and all the tyres were shot so since I’ve had Michelin pilotsport5’s fitted , they have plenty left on them. And all tracking and alignment was sorted. I’ve used this daily and put on around 9000 mls maybe more since buying it , last weekend it went to Germany (not the Nurburgring) and a few weeks before to the south of France. It’s been perfect since spending some money on it. When I got back from the road trips the front shocks started leaking (edc ones) I had been looking to lower the car a little anyway but was so unsure on springs as they had varied reviews on lowering amounts. In the end it was more financially suited to fit a decent coilover , that way I knew I could get the car to the correct height I wanted … so I fitted Bilstein B14 coilovers and they’re the best suspension setup I’ve ever used. They’re firm but no different to a brand new Msport Bmw in my opinion. These can also be raised up to standard height again if needed. In the pictures there is probably about 15mm more it can lower by if that’s your cup of tea but as it is it doesn’t rub anywhere and you can still have a spirited drive confidently. EDC has been coded out today so no warning lights and all the driving modes work fine. So there’s a couple bad bits I would have sorted if I were to keep it. It’s a CAT N like a lot of cars nowadays , it didn’t bother me as I was never buying this car as an investment or to make money on. It had two doors where a lorry changed lane into it apparently , I have the photos I can share if need be. It’s looks as though it’s been repaired to an average standard in my fussy eyes , but again price will reflect and whatnot. Wheels are a bit kurbed from previous owner And somebody keyed the bonnet and again it’s been badly touched up. one of the headlights has a snapped bracket , it doesn’t wobble and they’re adjusted in lines of MOT standard , just the lines are a bit out around the headlight , this could probably be adjusted with time but i never have time. Apart from that , I do 100 miles in it daily and it’s a brilliant car Service history is what’s on the idrive , I will get some photos but pretty good at around every 15k miles Since I’ve owned it I service all my cars every 5000 miles (I got the car on 109000) , this will probably have one last service before it sells.
