Description
Car is pretty clean and runs fine and can be shown running and driving perfect. It just has an oil cooler failure, the gasket was recently replaced but the coolant started getting oily again. Apparently common for the oil cooler to fail as well as the gaskets and let oil into the coolant system. Due to the spec on it, I will not take less than 2K unfortunately. Apparently common for the oil cooler to fail as well as the gaskets and let oil into the coolant system. Due to the spec on it, I will not take less than 2K unfortunately. Owned by a genuine enthusiast for these cars. To say that I am M5 money in maintenance in this car is an understatement Recent history New headgasket, both chains, head rebuild and lots of suspension work by Dubshack (£4200) Recent driveshaft RH (200) Recent fuel filter (£88) Oil every 10k done by me with millers motorsport as recommended by GKR performance. Very Recent oil filter housing gasket failure has been fixed and coolant has been flushed as best as possible, I have been driving and no issues since. Specifications Heated seats with some electric adjustment Hifi Audio (the sub is not included, wiring is. 19 inch spiders Fold down rear seats (apparently a rare option) Retrofits and upgrades LCI Light conversion front and rear all coded in and wired as per BMWs official retrofit guide. Only small issue is communication could never be found with the adaptive motors, I was going to investigate this further but never got round to it. F series style emergency brake force display coded. Welcome lights Follow me home lights C1A CIC retrofit will full factory BMW 2025 maps and genuine BMW Bluetooth combox with LCI idrive controller and the extra bright screen option. Wired and coded by LX computers (£900) The CIC unit is a DAB one but I didn’t get round to adding an arial and coding it in but the connection is there just on the back of the unit. 335d 6HP28 swap with gearbox CF33 map software solution from A.K.T tuning. (£1500). Shifts like almost like a DCT. GKR Performance Remap – 350hp 748nm. EBC yellow on the front (not got round to doing the back yet as they’re not quite due). 30mm lowered eighbach and at the same time brand new shocks. Polybushed rear subframe, and ARBs. Bigger intercooler. Bad bits, The paintwork in areas is showing its age, though most of it could be polished out nice. The glow plug module stopped working not long after I had the plugs replaced. There is a small viabration at speed, I believe it could be a wheel weight has fallen off. The center right parking sensor at the back has stopped working I recently had the back bumper replaced but it seems a few small scratches have appeared. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it’s not a fault but sometimes the polybushes can be a little noisy over speed bumps. BMW E60 535d. 2006 pre lci, Owned since 141k now on 187k 90% of driving sat on motorway from Stoke to Bristol every week.
