2012 BMW X5 xDrive40d M Sport, 3.0 twin-turbo diesel automatic with approximately 115,000 miles and full service history. The vehicle is in excellent cosmetic condition for its age. The bodywork presents very well, the interior is clean and well looked after, and it has been maintained regardless of cost. It has recently had a number of parts replaced, including a new inlet manifold, and I have receipts for all work carried out. Unfortunately, the engine has developed a mechanical fault and is making a knocking/ticking noise. I have not had the engine stripped or professionally diagnosed, so I cannot say exactly what the issue is. For that reason, the vehicle is being sold as spares or repair, and buyers should assume it will require investigation and repair before being driven. The gearbox selected gears correctly before the fault developed, and the vehicle is very clean inside and out. It would make an ideal project, engine repair, engine swap, or donor vehicle. Sold strictly as seen with no warranty implied or given. Delivery may be available for an a small cost, depending on your location. A non-refundable deposit will be required before delivery is arranged, with the remaining balance payable before or on delivery by agreement. This is a genuine and reluctant sale. I am disappointed to be selling it, as its a lovely car to drive and has been well maintained. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or the facilities to investigate and repair the fault, so I’ve decided to let it go to someone who can.
