IF YOU’RE NOT WILLING TO PAY DONT BOTHER BIDDING AND WASTING MY TIME. 2011 (61) BMW X5 40D MSPORT 128840 miles Selling as spares or repair purely for the fact that the handbrake will need fixing in order pass next MOT (due May 2027). We have owned the car for 5 years which is a long time for my husband as he gets bored with cars quite easily! The car hasnt been used for long distance and has probably only done 4000 miles per year since we’ve owned it. In the time that we’ve had the car it has been serviced by a local BMW specialist garage. In the past 3 years it has had: Rear airbags & compressor 4 Tyres (probably done less that 2500 miles) New battery Serviced & MOT in May 2026 Wheel Refurbishment & painted 20″ Wheels/Tyres Tinted windows Black out badges Drop links The good bits: Car has been remapped (done by previous owner) Never broken down on us Bodywork is great for age (age related scratch/scuff but no rust). Minor surface level paint loss or rear driver arch. It has been valeted monthly. Interior is in great condition. Seats are immaculate. All interior electronics work. My husband thinks its probably close to 350bph Comfortable drive Powerful when needed Around half a tank of fuel in it Really spacious vehicle with huge boot The bad bits: Electric handbrake has recently failed but can use park button. (Would fail next MOT due to handbrake failure). This is the reason we are selling the car as spares or repair. Slight whine on front transfer box (doesnt affect the drive, only noticed when slowing down to park up) When sat for a few days there is a slight smell of fuel when starting the car. Mechanic we consulted seems to think it may be related to the Map on the car & the fact that we dont use it for long distances so doesnt get a good run out. We have purchased another vehicle and dont have room for a 3rd vehicle on the drive hence reason he isnt keeping it. It is no longer taxed or insured so a test drive isnt possible although you could drive it to the end of the close and back! Please only contact if genuinely interested. No tyre kickers. On 09-Jul-26 at 19:21:19 BST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: Due to the sheer amount of interest we will be letting the auction run. Happy to answer any genuine questions through but please do not send offers. On 15-Jul-26 at 09:11:49 BST, seller added the following information: Here is a list of receipts we have for work done: Apr 2020 – Replace Turbos (Reconditioned) Sept 2021 – Replace Crank Shaft Pulley & Drive Belt Mar 2021 – Replace CV Boot Mar 2021 – Replace Rocker Cover Gasket Oct 2021 – Replace Blower Jan 2021 – Replace Battery Sept 2025 – Full Auto Gearbox Service & Flush May 2026 – Full Service & Replace CV Boot — No receipts but also done: Oct 2023 – Replace Air Suspension Compressor & both airbags Jun 2024 (roughly) – Replace battery Sept 2024 – Replace 4 tyres —- We have owned the car for 4 years not 5 (I obviously cant math correctly!). The mileage on the MOT before we bought it was 112980 so the car has done less that 16,000 miles in the 4 years we have owned it. —- Please note there was an advisory on last MOT for slight oil leak which we were told was wear & tear. There has been no sign of an oil leak when parked.
