BMW 528i SE 1996 Oxford Green Metallic 46000 Miles. MOT until March 2027.
BMW 528i Oxford Green metallic paint with light grey leather interior. Low mileage verified by MOT history. I bought this car 3 years ago and it was in good condition then but I have undertaken a full overhaul as a BMW enthusiast. The car is genuinely rust free including the usual areas of jacking points, sills, wheel arches and fuel filler area. All arch liners, underbody panels and door cards removed and bodywork underneath treated with Bilt Hamber rustproofing spray. Oil and spark plug service completed less than 1000 miles ago with 4 green lights remaining on the dash. Large file of receipts for parts replaced but for a flavour of work done it has new brake pads and discs all round, new braided brake hoses, new front shock absorbers, complete new front and rear suspension components, new power steering hoses and reservoir with new fluid, new battery and 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. New Dynavin infotainment system which is made to look like the original system and comes with DAB, Bluetooth, navigation, apple car play and reversing camera. Original radio and cassette player still available if required! The paintwork is in really good condition for a 30 year old car and the interior is also well preserved with no faults in the leather and intact headlining. It has some useful extras including heated front seats, glass sunroof, folding rear seats, rear windscreen electric sun blind and a heated steering wheel which is very unusual! Torch still present in the glove compartment and full toolkit in the boot. It drives perfectly and it has the M52 B28 6 cylinder engine which is capable of high mileage if serviced regularly. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the car is just a really nice drive. I was using it briefly as a daily driver but am now retired and have another car so I would rather someone else enjoy it either to drive daily or as a collectible weekend car. I think it is one of the best preserved E39 cars out there particularly with the low mileage but come and see it and make you own mind up about it! I have tried to convey that I have looked after it well but happy to talk to prospective buyers and answer any questions.
