Re Listed as I found a crack in the windscreen, I’ve had a new one fitted now. BMW 520d F11 Touring (2011) – New Timing Chain & Bearings – Good Mechanicals / Scruffy Bodywork Color: Havana Metallic Bronze Interior: Dakota Brown Leather Mileage: 159,600 miles Transmission: 6-Speed Manual Up for sale is a well-maintained and mechanically sound BMW 5-Series Touring. I have owned the car for just over a year, and it was previously owned by a family member, so its recent history is fully known to me. While the exterior shows its age with some dents and scrapes, mechanically this car has had every major F10/F11 red flags delt with. If you are looking for a reliable and economical family workhorse that is ready for another 100k miles, this is it. Major work done includes: Timing Chain: Brand new timing chain kit, new rocker cover, and new inlet manifold. Bottom End: All rod and main bearings replaced as a precaution while the timing chain was being addressed. Drivetrain: Brand new clutch and dual-mass flywheel. Fueling: 2 new injectors fitted and coded. EGR System: New EGR cooler replaced. Additional Recent Maintenance Electronic handbrake completely overhauled. Rear air suspension struts replaced. New interior blower motor & freshly re-gassed A/C (blowing ice cold). Refurbished headlight fitted to correct the common water ingress and Angel Eye DRL faults. Key Features & Specification Factory Bluetooth connectivity Automatic rear load cover (working perfectly) Detachable tow bar Aftermarket Bi-Xenon headlight upgrade Full SE trim specification Condition Interior: In great condition for its age. The Dakota brown leather looks fantastic against the Havana bronze paint. The only notable wear is minor scratching around the inner door handles (very common for this generation). Exterior: As seen in the photos, the car has a number of dents and scrapes. It is no show pony, but the bodywork is solid and reflects its role as a practical daily driver.
