Selling my 2015 BMW 2 Series (220d) as Spares or Repair due to an electrical communication fault. The car starts and moves for loading/trailering purposes but will intermittently stall due to the electrical fault. The vehicle is structurally and cosmetically in excellent condition with a solid interior and clean bodywork. It is completely HPI clear with no accident history. THE FAULT (Full Transparency for Trade/Mechanics): Diagnostic Codes: CF1451 , CF1481 , CF14C1 (No communication message from Transmission ECU). Diagnosis: A parasitic battery drain and communication break have been traced to the Main B+ feed at the passenger-side junction box . Current State: The engine cuts out intermittently due to the safety protocol triggered by the “No Message” wiring fault. Because it has been sitting SORN on a private driveway for a couple of months, the battery may now be flat and it may or may not start on keyturn —however, it was fully running and driven on and off the recovery truck to get to its current location. KEY VALUE POINTS: Engine: Highly desirable, reliable B47 unit (Euro 6 compliant) —starts up immediately. Condition: Pristine interior and exterior condition for its age. Excellent donor car or a highly profitable project for a mechanic or auto-electrician who has the time to trace the wire. History: 100% HPI clear. No finance outstanding and never involved in any accidents/insurance write-offs. REASON FOR SALE: I have already taken delivery of a new vehicle on lease and simply do not have the time or space to oversee the auto-electrical repair. The car has been sitting SORN on a private driveway for the last couple of months and is being sold strictly as-is to clear space. COLLECTION TERMS: Sold strictly as seen with faults fully disclosed. Must be collected via a winched trailer / recovery vehicle as it cannot be driven away on public roads and may need winching onto a flatbed depending on battery state. Location: Collection from Loughborough (LE11) . Payment: Cleared Bank Transfer or Cash on collection before the vehicle is loaded.
