Hello, unfortunately we’ve made the decision to part with our lovely X5 due to the fact my other half is learning to drive and we need a smaller car to share, once she passes. The car has been very well cared for and has a stack of invoices for service records and repairs the car has needed, due to wear and tear. Currently on 139k miles and still in daily use. I will have the car fully serviced using premium brand (Bosch) filters and Castrol Oil prior to auction end date. Its booked in for an MOT, so it’ll come with 12 months MOT for the new owner. Currently has three months remaining upon posting this ad. The car is well equipped, being an Msport. It has; panoramic roof, black leather interior with power adjustable and heated seats, Xenon headlights. auto wipers, auto lights, air conditioning, cruise control, parking sensors front + rear, reverse camera as well as DAB radio and a CD player. The car is fitted with “third row seating” as an optional extra from BMW, meaning its a seven seater car. The rear two seats are more suited for under 18s or small adults, on longer trips. They fold entirely flat when not needed so a nice feature to have with zero sacrifice. The car is a Black edition so it’s factory de-chromed. No outdated chrome trim around windows and the front bumper, like most X5 of this generation. This gives the car a more modern aesthetic when you compare the two. It has 21 inch alloy wheels which were uprated factory extra alloy wheels from BMW when it was manufactured. They have premium brand tyres with plenty of tread on all four tyres. Being the 40d variant with a zf8 8speed auto transmission, its the most reliable and best all rounder X5 available. The 30d can be underpowered whilst the 50d is criticised for its complex and comonoy failing, turbo. I spent a lot of time researching X5’s and we were so pleased when we found this one. I’ll genuinely be disappointed to see it go but its just too big for my nervous partner to use as her first car. I am located at Durham, North East. We have a train station five minutes from my house so could meet buyer / viewer at train station if needed. Alternatively, delivery could be arranged anywhere in UK mainland at buyers expense, but car would need to be paid in full, prior to being loaded for transport. I would advise coming to view the car PRIOR to the auction ending, having said that, I would like to stress eBay’s terms, in that, by bidding for this car, you are offering said amount of money – you are not bidding to ‘view’ the car but bidding to BUY the car for the amount you entered. I have not got time to waste on people bidding without readily available funds or bidding then changing their mind. Auction ends Saturday 6th June at 21:30pm.
